Officials: Teacher Appeared Drunk in Massachusetts Classroom

WEST NEWBURY, Mass.-- A middle school teacher is accused of being drunk on the job.

West Newbury, Mass., Police were called to a local middle school last week to further investigate a situation surrounding 47-year-old Eva Brady who according to police appeared to be drunk on the job, My Fox Boston reports.

Contents from a gatorade bottle taken from the classroom were tested for alcohol. The tests determined the liquid did contain alcohol.

Police also say that Brady allegedly had a conversation with a student in which she discussed "how it would feel to have a bullet in his head."

"Hopefully she gets the help she needs and obviously shouldn't be teaching under those circumstances," Cindy Foote, a parent of a student at the school said.

Police say no charges have been filed in this situation.
