2 Chicago Police officers accused of sex assault

CHICAGO – Chicago Police Superintendent Terry Hillard says two officers have been placed on administrative duty as the department investigates allegations that they were involved in the sexual assault of a woman on the city's North Side this week.

A police official who spoke on condition of anonymity tells The Associated Press that the on-duty officers were in a department Chevy Tahoe SUV when they spotted the crying woman on the street early Wednesday.

The official says that in the police report the woman says she had sex with one of the officers in the vehicle and then the three of them went to her apartment, where they played strip poker and where she had sex with an officer before she became afraid and ran down the hallway screaming.
