One shoe loving woman + 8’000 feet of space + 36,000 pairs of shoes + a shute + a conveyor belt = the above.
This is what happens when I am let loose in the stockroom of ALDO’s newly redesigned 309 oxford street, flagship concept store.
Pairing one shoe loving woman in 8,000 feet of 36,000 pairs of shoes will surely only result in a lot of funny shoe business.
I blame it on being excited about ALDO’s celebration of their newly redesigned London flagship concept.
Already opened the store will be in party mode with shoes galore, complimentary manicures, giveaways, popsicles (being served from a special ALDO truck stationed outside the store), as much Pick-N-Mix as you can eat, live DJ sets by the likes of Amber Atherton of UK reality TV show ‘Made in Chelsea’ and much more.
This digitally loving stylist and creative consultant is all for any event or project that provokes conversation and promotes interaction between a brand and it’s customer creatively.
I will be on hand tweeting live for the brand at the store.
It is happening at ALDO, 309 Oxford street, London from 10am to 7pm. Why not hail a complimentary ride to the store in the ALDO cab from nearby Bond Street underground tube station.
All the details on the event here and here.
For those not based in London follow the action and join in the celebration via live Twitter updates by ALDO. and yours truely.
It essentially a store party and you the general public are the guests. See you there.

oooh, you’re wearing the ones I’ve had my eyes on! I’ve been keeping them on my “saved for later” list on asos for ages … maybe the day will come when they make it into the bag =)
Don’t blame you one bit. They are pretty cute!
