Vintage beige Phase 8 tunic, self customised Zara jeans, Topshop bustier bra top, mixed jewellery, Marc by Marc Jacobs bag and Carvela shoes.
Sunday 2nd May 2010.
The more holes the better
I have been living in this vintage knit holey top. It is great over with everything. The other day I wore it over a nude dress, heeled boots and a trunk full of arm-wear. On Sunday I threw it on with the above pair of these self customised Zara jeans (I am a self confessed denim ripper!) and the Topshop bra-let. I like that sequin bra and jewellery add a bit of delicate femininity meets 90′s Courtney Love to the mix.
Bus stop adventures
I took the above shots while waiting for a bus to no where in particular. Sometimes its fun just to catch a bus till it’s last stop and make one’s way back home. I have found the most random thrift shops, obscure but wonderful restaurants and other hidden treasures this way. On the same day as these images I came across the weirdest charity thrift shop with the most amazing vintage sterling silver ring.
Destination unknown
For me it’s not about the final destination but the sights, the journey and experiences along the way.

I love that adventurous spirit! The most serendipitous things can happen when we have no destination. Sorry for sounding so cliche’. You are looking lovely as per normal. Very jealous of your ability to layer a bustier, would never work on me.
awesome outfit marian!
I love the boots
xxxx
that is nice and cool outfit! Have a great day Marian!:)
Great outfit! Love the sequined bustier. the dress looks so comfortable, I can totally understand that you are wearing it a lot. xx
Just unique! I love Ur style!
I love it, the sequins are the perfect touch
Hi there- a lovely inspirational look, sounds like your trip paid dividends too!
I always get excited when I reach your comment in answering comments on my blog, it’s always such a pleasure to hop on over to your blog and see what you’ve been up to, and all the lovely things you’ve been wearing! This look is amazing, especially your necklace (or is it more than one?) and shoes and shirt!
Thanks for your sweet comment, I appreciate you’re warm support more than I can say! Take care, dear! ♥
xoxo,
S-C
Marian, you are such a sweetheart! Thanks for all your comments, girl!
Also, this is maybe my *favorite* of your outfit posts! I love that loose knit tunic– so versatile and edgy! And this is the best way I’ve seen to wear a bralette! I love them, but generally stay clear for myself, because they are not particularly kind to big-busted ladies like myself. Seriously, there’s not a part of this outfit I don’t like. It’s all perfect, and you look beautiful in it!
I’m a denim ripper myself for sure! I’m currently thrifting for some loose boyfriend jeans that I can turn into destroyed, rolled-up boyfriend shorts. I love going at them with my scissors, sandpaper, and a cheese grater– it’s just fun, quite frankly. Lol. Do you have any special tips for DIY denim destruction?
thank you so much for your love, support & your prayers, dearest Marian. they mean a lot to me, and yes, I do need them all.
you have such a blessed & kind soul.
and you look fabulous by the way!
sending lots of love your way, xoxo
That necklace is flat out amazing! And your adventurous spirit is inspiring!
I am always so so jealous of your bangles and rings.

I absolutely love this look its so cool ^^
Great look and the bustier is incredibly pretty with the tunic.
your style is so wonderfully odd and i love it. Very nice way to wear that piece…most girls wouldve made it look trashy and cheap, you did the opposite
hey there Marian – you look beautiful in white sweets. love the vintage-living-out-of-granny’s-attic-look.
I love you in this with an ethereal stamp. adore your bracelets – please send me a post office box so
that you can receive one of my bracelets.
especially adoring the gray boots, naturally. so cool I get so jazzed riding a bus I don’t usually ride from beginning
to end – always amazing – and full of surprises here in new york.
definitely feeling that tunic, love how you’ve paired it with sequined bra top!
