Awkward is good
I find the cut of these John Rocha pants intriguing. I was in the mood for their proportions and so I wore them over a pair of leggings.
I then threw on the vintage denim shirt and the cropped leather waistcoat. Alice the Frye boots was the finishing touch. I like ‘not quite there’ proportions put together; the Frye anke boots that are not quite ankle length, the awkward cut of the culotte like pants and the miniscule shrunken crop leather vest.
Power in numbers
They all just seem a tad more hopeful, brighter, bigger … when put together.

I love the cut of the pants. That’s one of my favorite shapes right now–I call them “teacher pants” because they remind me of my 2nd grade teacher. Her wardrobe of high-waisted cropped trousers and cobweb knit sweaters influences me to this day. Funny, huh?
