Being immortalized by an artist is perhaps the most humbling accolade I could be given. This art piece by Hormazd Narielwalla is a sincere honor as I am continually inspired by his work, approach and perspective.
Artist Hormazd Narielwalla’s work explores the pleathora of tailoring patterns. He uses their graphic form to create artwork that is an abstract and intelligent meeting place between illustration and art.
The London College of Fashion PhD candidate, who is currently in a residency with Dege & Skinner, created the above piece as an early 30th birthday gift (which happens to fall on the day of his eminent solo exhibition, 14th November).
Hormazd Narielwalla opened a solo exhibition called Fairy-God, Fashion-Mother on 8th November 2011. At The Modern Pantry in Clerkenwell, London, it is on show till 7th January 2012.
