Last Saturday I wore this orange eyeshadow(I promise it looks a lot brighter in the real!). I was inspired by Manish Arora.

I have always been a fan of Manish Arora’s colourful and highly embellished design ethos. His autumn winter 2010 collection was no exception but what really caught my eye was the neon bright eye makeup.

The electric pink eyebrows and flouro yellow/green/orange eyeshadow was trippy acid rainbow meets orbital girl.

The shade im wearing is one I picked up in this tiny chemist. You know the type with the most random makeup brands.

In my makeup bag is this neon purple eyeliner that I am will be experimenting with in a scaled back version of the catwalk look.

I am also liking the below shades.

♦ To keep it chic stick to one colour. The eyeshadows above are just a few of the few eye popping shades available.

♦ Try a coloured false eyelash. Think more high fashion and less experimental pre-teen.

♦ Dip into the trend by simply replacing your usual eyeliner with a brighter hue.

♦ If the all over lid look is too bold for you, apply the color sparingly in the crease of the lid. The other day a client had a ‘look at me’ turquoise shade in the corners of her eye. It looked amazing.

♦ Finally, be creative! Make up your own rules.

Will you be going all bright eyed?

I am utterly enamoured with the pretty packaging of MAC’s Give Me Liberty range.

This limited edition range sees the makep brand celebrate Liberty of London’s most famous prints.

I think that Liberty’s iconic prints make for charming packaging!

The collection which is priced from £12.50 goes on sale on April 1st.

Makeup never looked so delightful! I would happily have those sweet birds and flowers in my makeup bag. I am intrigued by ‘Vestral White’, a creamy white nail polish shade from the collection.

It is the closest Tipp-EX(white correction fluid) like shade that I’ve ever had a grown up excuse to wear.

What are your thoughts on the collection?

Kisses,
Marian.
