The top image is of me before and after a virtual makeover using Topshop Make Up powered by Taaz.com
It was only a matter of time till UK high street favourite, Topshop got it’s own makeup collection.
Topshop Make Up like the fashion brand, is a mix of the essential ‘needs of a makeup bag’ (your basic eye, skin and lip products) and the more directional ‘trend inspired want inducing’ products. The store make up range is thus a combination of trend make up colours as inspired by the catwalk inspired and the core beauty essentials.
Seeing that I have not bought any of the products yet it was fun virtually trying them on during a bout of insomnia.
Topshop have partnered up with Taaz.com (a virtual online makeover tool) to create a fun new makeover tool.
Using the Taaz virtual makeover tool you can either upload an image of yourself or use one of their model shots and go to town trying products from the collection on.
I had a ball with it, trying the a pale lip and fun shimmery purple eye. Not so sure if the purple eye is fuming teenage angst or bordering on possible chic. Not that it matters, as for me it was less about whether each virtual look I tried suited me and more about simply trying out the program.
Great way of trying the products without any ‘public beauty tester hygiene’ worries before splurging.
