The Gossip – Betsey Johnson, the fun loving purveyor of all things girly and bright is having a fun sale on evening dresses. She is inviting you along. Alice in Wonderland is the inspiration. Snag one of her fun dresses. I have a shocking pink vintage piece by her which is such a great mood lifter.
No one quite does bubble gum meets Barbie fantastic pink like she does. Her dresses are all about fun. Not a bad thing seeing that Cyndi Lauper rightly said,Girls just wanna have fun.

Yesterday, dressed in an outfit that was an ode to Alice(seen on me in image one with gorgeous Carina of Self Service UK), I scurried down the rabbit hole to The Soho Hotel for Self Service UK’s Tom Binns’s Jewellery for Disney launch and the private screening of Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland.
Self Service UK threw the yummy launch of the Tom Binns jewellery for Disney Jewellery and the private advance screening of Tim Burton’s adaptation of the Disney classic, Alice in Wonderland.
Amidst white bunny rabbits, displays of cake, tea cups and much more lay the jewellery.
Tom Binns has worked his magic on two jewellery collections in association with Disney as in above images. Both feature divine designs inspired by Alice, the Red Queen, the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit, Chesire Cat and the White Queen.
I drooled over the two collections; the Tom Binns for Disney Couture is for Disney’s popular jewellery line and will be 35 piece collection and the Tom Binns for Walt Disney Signature line includes a limited edition collection of 6 high end pieces.
The Tom Binns for Walt Disney signature is divine! Think Binns signature use of neon and eclectic varied material paired with all things Alice in Wonderland(tea cups, door holes, keys) etc.
After viewing the collections(both will be available online and at select retailers including ASOS & Selfridges), we(a crowd of fashion writers, bloggers, editors and other fashion folk) were armed with popcorn, 3D glasses and drinks and watched Disney’s Alice in Wonderland as directed by Tim Burton in 3D.
I won’t say much about the movie as I don’t want to spoil it for you but I will say it is incredibly visually stunning!!
The movie is out on 5th March and is such a must watch!
