Pink pants guarantee good times. This I am sure of. That is to be expected with their loud ‘you cannot miss me’ presence. They are kind of the life and soul of a party. I had to pair their action starting form with something equally enthusiastic and thought the Kenzo floral jacket made for a good match.

The life of a party always needs a main cheerleader, a right hand man as it were to champion their cause.

Ethereal, emotive and exquisite…

There is something to be said visually about presenting something in a new way. San Francisco Academy of Art University graduate Maria Romero was encouraged by her fashion school’s Director, Simon Ungless to show her graduate collection on dolls. The result is beautiful. The texture of the garments and actual film short as directed by Romero takes inspiration from ‘Dulces de Reliquias’ which are candies handed at Mexican Christmas Nativity plays. Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen who was present at the preview of the film short offered Romero an internship.

My resolutions are always the same…
To live each moment to the full.

This photo of model, actress and muse to Vivienne Westwood, Tolula Adeyemi and I was taken in the moment.
A moment lived to the full. One of many that night. Watching a concert in a private box above an incredible crowd flanked by memorable pre and after parties where Tolula manned the decks.

Grasping each moment like it is your last should encompass the seemingly non glamorous ones too.

There is something to be said about a life lived in celebration. Where every supposedly ordinary moment is bravely met head on. Every minute matters. Each, a part of the eventual journey that is your life.

Putting living on hold till you reach a desired dream, destination or goal is like futilely trying to holding your breath till a milestone is met.

Breathe and live vibrantly now.

Rundown

Number one skincare brand at Sephora in the USA, Philosophy, held an informal and intimate event for lifestyle & beauty bloggers. Hosted by TV Presenter and Fashion Editor Louise Roe (known for her MTV show ‘Plain Jane’), Lee Harding the training director for Philosophy was on hand to revitalize the Philosophy message of inspirational branding messaging tied with scientifically and medically proven ingredients.

The bloggers in attendance were able to explore the Philosophy displayed in a whimsical set-up while enjoying retro pastries and smoothies (inspired by product recipes like ‘cinnamon buns’,'raspberry sorbet’ and more). Roe shared her thoughts on the brand, revealing that the ‘Hope in the jar’ product for her is a lifeline, one that she applies thrice a day and takes on her plane rides.

Both Roe and the bloggers ended the event with a video animation where each answered the same question: ‘what is your philosophy’, where each was invited to answer using their favorite Philosophy brand word; ‘hope’, ‘miracle’, ‘joy’ and ‘grace’.
