Miuccia Prada’s brilliance is her ability to add a fun twist to even the most unsuspecting reference.

Her fall 2011 collection saw her Miu Miu girl grow up in her interpretation of the forties.

To that grown reference, the twist is seen in the accessories. The shoes in particular prove that Miu Miu’s fall girl still knows how to have fun.

Magpie attracting, glitter upper frames form the backdrop to the metallic and muted hues of suede. The strappy looking booties and heels have a distinctive curved heel.

I like that what looks like a bow on some is actually fanned out fabric, spanning from the ingenious tuck.

Glittery shoes have a way of dividing the masses.
