Before the Lanvin x H&M collection could hit stores in the US and Canada in all its glory, there were pieces for sale on Ebay as seen here.
I think the collection being sold for heavily inflated prices sort of ruins the whole spirit of the collaboration. It should be about inspiration, exuberance, creativity and allowing the masses to partake in that hard to access Lanvin world.
As usual though, it is not what I think that counts, it is your opinion that matters. So what say thou? Vote in the poll below.

I wish there was a way to stop people from buying from collections just to sell on ebay, it really does ruin the spirit of things and means people who really want the stuff either can’t have it or feel forced to pay waaay over the odds.
xx
I don’t mind someone selling the odd thing they bought extra and didnt want or somthing but when they are buying up armfulls and are selling it a hundreds and hundreds of pounds it really does spoil the whole point of the collection – makin Lanvin accessable to those who wouldn’t usually be able to afford it. I experienced this at the Matthew Williamson collab one girl ran in sweap up the entire rack dresses and ran to buy the lot, H&M are a fault too for letting poeple do this, but they just want to be able to have a sell out collection. It works much better when Topshop does collabs as they make sure there will be enough for everyone who wants to buy it.
I’m surprised the trench (14) wasn’t on your wish list, that would look fabulous on you darling.
The video was fun.
I would get everything!!! But the thing that you have to cue outside and then fight once you get inside to grab a piece is totally not for me!
Maybe for this reason I wouldn’t mind to pay more on ebay…but than again I agree with what you said and I think it spoils the spirit of the initiative, so I voted NO
i actually think i’ll be standing in line that day.. i didn’t think so first, but i wanna feel the different pieces and not just order online like i usually do with these kind of collections- plus if i want something- it’s really gotta fit..
but i’m loving some of the designs. in particular the dresses.
hope you’re having a glam sunday lovely marian!
