Whether you call it dogtooth or houndstooth, it was everywhere on runways for next season. It sat against other classic British tailoring fabrics like Prince of Wales, tweed, herringbone in a many a collection.
Forget any stuffy bourgeois connotations you might have had with regards to this fabric, for fall it has been reworked and tweaked in a multitude of ways.
It came in varying digitally mastered print forms, sometimes almost beyond recognition. Other times it was worked into directional structure forms.
