I posted on the 60′s fall trend here.

It seems that designers are still in swinging mode because this is one trend that is carried on for spring 2013. Fall’s more grownup 60′s take gives way to a younger, more youthful interpretation of the sixties.
Skirts are Mary Quant short (in many cases shorter!). In essence spring’s take on it is ‘sixties teen’ whilst fall’s vision is ‘grown-up sixties’.

Thoughts on the ‘sixties teen’ look? In relation to this question is another one that I’ve been pondering. We all know fashion is born in cycles. Each era is inspired somewhat by a bygone era. For seasons we’ve seen reincarnations of the 20′s, 50′s and so on take center stage at international fashion weeks. What are your thoughts on high fashion’s fascination with the past?

Is the ‘sixties teen’ look for you?
