images used in collages: David Bowie in leotard by Michael Ochs Archive/Getty from France.real.com, E.T image from beeoasis.com, Margiela runway images from fashioncopious.typepad.com, Sigourney Weaver in Aliens from cinemablend.com, David Bowie in Kansai Yamamoto from photobucket.com, Eyeball image from Flickr.com, varying Hussien Chalayan collection images from dezeen.com.

The David Bowie leotard image, from Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust era, set off an inspiration chain link.

The image got me thinking of Hussein Chalayan’s varying collections, the brilliance of Margiela, Sigourney Weaver’s sci-fi movies, futurism, fantasy, cult 80’s movie E.T, technology within fashion, the other-worldly, 70’s Kansai Yamamoto, ‘Ziggy Stardust’ David Bowie, flamboyancy and innovation.

Inspiration is found in the most random places.

I always thought David Bowie should be designing his own line, don’t you think?

Wow! What an eerily wonderful collage of imagery. Inspiring indeed! Hope you are having a great evening, my dear. Thank you so much for stopping by my handbag blog. I’m really excited about this collection. I’m already starting to see images of finished product. Now I just have to sit down at the sewing machine and get busy.

    Love and Kisses!
