The Timo Weiland high fashion label as helmed by Alan Eckstein and Timo Weiland was launched in spring 2010. The spring summer 2012 season brought their debut runway show.
The collection notes pointed out that Weiland and Eckstein had drawn inspiration from the Basquiat’s time in Hawaii. This line-up was the meeting of the urban city and the laid back spirit of island life. Utility jackets, bright Hawaiian print shirts, embellished crop bustiers worn with accordian pleat print skirts, light lace dresses.
There was a sporty feel to the collection which added to the light mood of the debut Timo Weiland runway show.

what do you think about showing the belly bottom Mirian… is it chic? Yes, no? I’m not sure about it!
love, always,
Kira
Darling Kira.
I am good thank you. Hope you are well?
I think the belly button baring issue is all in the styling and balance of the look. I think body form matters too. This is not a look for everyone. If it is done it has to be in balance. So bare the belly but cover up else where and so on. It can be made chic or trashy dependant on how it is done.
Big kiss xx
