Louise Gray Spring 2013

I want to be a Louise Gray girl! Is it just me or do they seem to have the most fun? There is this boisterous and high energy neo punk meets rave feel about the Louise Gray girl that I want to be a part of. For spring it was Gray’s usual disarming hodge-podge of clashing elements; innovative geometric print clashed against jarring metallics, cartoon-esque doodles and squiggles (inspired by Barbie), sequins, patchwork dresses etc.

This was offset by makeup (it was Barbie like; orange lips and graphic eyes) and accessories (mirrored headpieces by milliner Stephen Jones and perspex exclamation mark earring by Tatty Devine).

Talking Barbie inspiration, doesn’t the final look on each model as emphasized by hair and makeup, look like a neo punk Barbie?
