J. Mendel Fall 2012

Craftsmanship and a juxtaposition of light and heavy was focus at the J. Mendel fall 2012-2013 show.

Giles Mendel’s collection opened up with four all white looks; cashmere coat with fox fur collar, cashmere cardigan over a pleated skirt, a Ilama wool tiered jacket and a white alligator jacket.

The white led into black and white multi degrade coats with pleated black chiffon. Black boucle was cut into full skirts and collarless jacket and organza piping detail.

Deep v-neck gowns ensued with details at neck, shoulder and back.
One of note as a rich plum cloque gown worn with a pointy toe stiletto.

Outerwear was luxurious with a multi zip camel shearling coat (seen in image four) being a standout piece.

Asymmetrical, embroidered and beaded gowns were in a palette of oat, taupe, ochre, black and nude.

The J.Mendel fall 2012 woman is refined and on the go.
