Dries Van Noten’s autumn winter 2010 – 2011 collection was an interesting mix of high and low. I really liked the contrast of the luxurious with the urban.
Although the shoes had a slight orthopedic feel to their steady chunky heel, they had me at go. It was a mix of satin, animal print, leather, suede etc uppers paired with a slanting chunky heel. I would not say no to pair or five…

Hmmm. Dries has me for everything. Love the creativity going into “I die” stilettos and love admiring them. These I want to wear. These are defiantly sexy in that wondrous way that classical with a twist is. These are kittenish and sexy in the way that a white blouse and a plaid skirt is; unexpectedly charming. And the clunk does amazing things for ankles. Can you imagine the juxtaposition of stockings with clocks, s strict pencil skirt and a crisp Anne Fontaine-type white blouse.
Hi my dear!! Pleased to see you keeping up the excellent work on here!! Love those shoes, will be a perfect style for Autumn/Winter!! Hope you’re well, take care!
i like chunky heels– but im wondering if these arent a bit too chunky.. im not much for stilettos either. but something in between.
i do agree with kiara. its way comfy.
The shoe shape seems rather reminiscent of this Jil Sander shoe: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3055/2565280455_e0c4175efb.jpg
Love, especially in leopard.

Yves Saint Laurent did this in 2006. I have a pair – architectural and chunky. I love. Especially when the shoe has a super high AND chunky heel.
I love the croc version.
Love your blog, keep it up!
Btw, thanks for leaving a comment on my blog, I really appreciate it

I don’t know really…I love comfy wedges, but chunky heels…not sure about me wearing them
Absolutely gorgeous. My favourite? The black suede stunners, they would look really hot with some summer shorts or some skinnies in fall.
Chunky is comfy!
