Your sojourn begins with that very first page. As it goes on, it builds the who, what, why’s with such ease that you are certain that the model is really living the story she purports in the spread in question.

Very photographers have that knack of building a fantastical fairytale and bringing it to life, quite like Tim Walker.

His ‘An Awful Big Adventure’ editorial in Mongolia for British Vogue’s December 2011 takes the viewer straight into the poignant unmarred beauty of Mongolia.

The editorial is a good example of one that stays respectful to host location without just being a gimmicky, literal interpretation.
