Models at spring summer 2011 shows were in the red eye as seen at Narcisco Rodriguez (as pictured in collage to right i.e. Joan Smalls and the model above her) and Carolina Herrera.

Surprising I do not mind this look at all. I know you are probably thinking that paired with the pale lip it can get a tad zombie gets stoned while trying to catch some sleep, not that I am saying zombies sleep but you catch my drift!

Red eyeshadow is by no means new. King of the effortless cool, Alexander Wang’s slew of hot young things accessorized his autumn winter 2010-2011 collection with a reddish brown eye. Which sort of makes sense seeing that Alexander Wang is as to the nineties (the era is always cited in his collections) as red eyeshadow was to that era. A similar reddish brown eye look was also seen at Cushnie et Ochs autumn winter 2010-2011.
