Years ago when my hair was longer, for an epic but brief phase, I rocked streaks of silvery blue.
I have been majorly fantasising of having blue hair again and I am not sure why.
Maybe it is nostalgia, something about that creative phase of me and my blue hair in college…
Maybe it’s that 90′s meets metallic meets neo punk feel that silver, pale blue or cotton candy pink and ombre hair conjures up…
Maybe it’s Anna Piaggi’s delightfully surreal blue curls…
Maybe it’s Dazed and Confused Editor, Katie Shillingford’s epic blue and black ombre hair…
Maybe it’s thanks to the hair at Spring/Summer 2010 catwalk shows like Proenza Schouler, Giles etc…
Maybe it’s due to the safety pin and cane-rowed pink cotton candy(candy floss) hair at Rei Kawakubo’s Commes des Garçons Spring/Summer 2010 show…
Perhaps it is down to the streaks in the heart shaped up dos in the Spring/Summer 2010 Chanel Couture show earlier this week…
I cannot put a finger on what is causing it, maybe it is all of the above. What I do know is, I am majorly dreaming of silvery/blue/pink and ombre hair. It is haunting my every fleeting thought.
Well, that’s a new dimension in hair dyeing – red, green, pink, yellow, blue, violet – we’ve seen all those hair colors before.
But this “ombre” style is quite new due to the white and blue/violet/green combo…. I really like Tavi’s blue hair – it suits her pretty well!
Me too! Well, streaky silver hair, that is. I was musing about it only last week: pondering pewter hair

I have been wondering to myself why I feel the need to die my hair pink or blue lately. I have never died my hair before in my life…and all of a sudden I’m thinking (seriously thinking) of doing it. I may just dive right in!

painted my hair of green and after red! I remember at school, everybody looking at me!
